FIRST SCHEDULE

No. 92 State Highway: all that portion commencing at the
southern boundary of the Borough of Balclutha and proceeding
thence to the south-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12274
(C.T. 4C/1035), thence along the southern boundary of Lot
1, D.P. 12274, to a point terminating opposite the eastern
end of Freezing Works Road at the Catlins Branch Railway
Crossing, as the same is shown more particularly on plan
L.A. 70/126/27, held at the office of the Ministry of Works
and Development, Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

No. 92 State Highway: all that public highway commencing
at the southern boundary of the Borough of Balclutha and
proceeding thence to its junction with the southern boundary
of Freezing Works Road via the eastern section of loop road
at Tiro Creek and the railway crossing, as the same is more
particularly shown on plan L.A. 70/126/27, held at the office
of the Ministry of Works and Development, Wellington.

Notice of Acquisition of Public Reserve by the Crown

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is
hereby given that the land, described in the Schedule hereto,
has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to
the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, to be known as the
Maitahi Scenic Reserve.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—TARANAKI COUNTY—MAITAHl
SCENIC RESERVE

LOT 1, D.P. 11644, being Part Sections 122 and 123, Okato
District, situated in Block I, Cape Survey District; area, 7440

Notice of Trading Bank Reserve Asset Requirements

PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand
Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the
Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that as from the
close of business on 1 February 1978, and until further
notice each trading bank shall maintain during each calendar
month balances at the Reserve Bank plus holdings of Reserve
Bank notes and of New Zealand Government securities, such
that the aggregate of the averages of those balances and
holdings during that calendar month (determined in accordance
with clauses 1, 2, 3 and 4 of this notice) equals or exceeds
the aggregate of:

35 percent of that trading bank's average demand deposit
liabilities in New Zealand in the immediately preceding
calendar month (determined in accordance
with the provisions of clause 5 of this notice); plus
