Flight Lieutenant (acting Squadron Leader) C. B. Raddeck relinquishes the acting rank of Squadron Leader with effect from 5 December 1977.

Flight Lieutenant (temp. Squadron Leader) B. M. Garnett relinquishes the temp. rank of Squadron Leader with effect from 9 January 1978.

Flying Officer (temp. Flight Lieutenant) B. E. Joblin relinquishes the temp. rank of Flight Lieutenant with effect from 7 November 1977.

Extensions of Commission

The notice published in the Gazette, 24 November 1977, No. 120, p. 3089, relating to the extension of the commission of Squadron Leader J. P. Butler, Secretarial Division, is cancelled.

Flight Lieutenant Noel Francis Thomson is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 24 November 1979 with effect from 25 November 1977.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Appointment

Squadron Leader Robert Athol Brill (Retired List “B”) is appointed to the Active Reserve of Air Force Officers in his present rank and seniority for a period of five years with effect from 23 November 1977.

Promotion

Flight Lieutenant (temp. Squadron Leader) A. McL. Thomson, M.B., CH.B.(U.ABERD.), D.C.H.(GLAS.), D.T.M. and H., R.C.P.(LOND.) and R.C.S.(ENG.), to be Squadron Leader with seniority from 7 November 1971 and effect from 7 November 1977.

Extensions of Commissions

Transfers

Squadron Leader A. McL. Thomson, M.B., CH.B.(U.ABERD.), D.C.H.(GLAS.), D.T.M. and H., R.C.P.(LOND.) and R.C.S.(ENG), is transferred to the Active Reserve from the General Reserve for a period to expire on 23 March 1978, with effect from 7 November 1977.

Flight Lieutenant G. A. Ritchie is transferred from the General Reserve to the Active Reserve for a period to expire on 1 September 1980, with effect from 25 November 1977.
