special prices in respect of any Australian navel oranges to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Secretary under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of oranges or may relate generally to all Australian navel oranges to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.

DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS

  1. Every retailer who offers or exposes any Australian navel oranges for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the oranges to which it relates as to be obviously descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:

(a) The retail price a pound or, where the scales used by the retailer weigh in metric weights, the price a kilogram.

(b) The words “Australian navel”.

Bona Vacantia Disclaimed

IN the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of LANGFORD’S RAILWAY HOTEL LTD., a dissolved company.

NOTICE is hereby given as follows:

  1. That on the 8th day of March 1978, it came to the notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that the property of Langford’s Railway Hotel Ltd., as registered proprietor of an estate in fee simple in all that piece of land containing 2.4757 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 20, Block I, Deposited Plan 69, and being part Sections 97 and 369, Block XXIV, Hokonui District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, 5A/196 (Southland Registry), had vested in the Crown as bona vacantia pursuant to section 337 of the Companies Act 1955.

  2. That on the aforesaid date application was received by the Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown’s title to the said property to be disclaimed.

  3. That no such application as aforesaid was received by the Secretary to the Treasury before the date aforesaid.

  4. That the Crown’s title to the said property is hereby disclaimed.

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 91 (4) (b) of the Government Railways Act 1949, the Minister of Railways has appointed Mr Maurice Langston Cotter, Branch Administration Officer, Chief Mechanical Engineer’s Office, Wellington, as a member of the Government Railways Appeal Board, from and including 12 June 1978, until and including 11 June 1979, in all appeals by or against employees in the New Zealand Government Railways.
