Amendment to Consent to the Generation of Electricity by the Waitomo Electric Power Board

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby amends the Consent to the Generation of Electricity by the Waitomo Electric Power Board* by revoking the expression “1400 kilowatts” from clause 1 (c) of the Schedule and substituting the expression “4,400 kilowatts”.

Boundaries of the City of Manukau Altered

It is hereby notified that pursuant to section 50 of the Local Government Act 1974, the boundaries of the City of Manukau are hereby altered by including within the city, land reclaimed from the Tamaki riverbed, and described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit a Maori Reservation was Made

WHEREAS by notice dated 14 October 1975, published in Gazette, No. 90, 23 October 1975, p. 2344, the general land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae site, recreation or sports ground, for the common use or benefit of the Maori people associated with the Mangaroa Maori Committee; and whereas it is proposed to re-define the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the said Maori reservation was made; now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I hereby re-define the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the said Maori reservation was made to be the Maori people of New Zealand.
