Tikipunga High School Board of Governors Notice 1978

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Tikipunga High School Board of Governors Notice 1978.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1978.

2. The Board of Governors of Tikipunga High School shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
   (b) One member elected by the teachers at the school;
   (c) Eight members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
   (d) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

3. The Whangarei High Schools Board shall cease to control Tikipunga High School and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Variation of the Southland College Board of Governors Notice 1977

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby varies the Southland College Board of Governors Notice 1977* by deleting the words “Southland College” where they appear in the title and clauses 1 and 2 of that notice, and substituting the words “Cargill High School”.

PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Whangarei High Schools Board of Governors Notice 1978.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1978.

2. The Board of Governors for Whangarei Boys High School, Whangarei Girls High School and Kamo High School shall be known as the Whangarei High Schools Board and shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
   (b) One member elected by the teachers of Whangarei Boys High School, Whangarei Girls High School, and Kamo High School;
   (c) Three members elected by the parents of pupils attending Whangarei Boys High School;
   (d) Three members elected by the parents of pupils attending Whangarei Girls High School;
