IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER of RASMUSENS’ POULTRY FARMS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at the offices of Cadwallader and Brandon, Accountants, Provident Life Building, Ridgway Street, Wanganui:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for an order for the regulation of the conduct of the company’s affairs in future, namely by requiring I. S. Rasmussen to transfer to the petitioner the 14 “B” shares referred to in the petition and to pay to the petitioner both now and in the future an appropriate and just sum by way of dividend and interest on his loan account; or for such other order as shall be just, was presented to the Supreme Court on the 2nd day of March 1978 by MALCOLM ARNOLD RASMUSEN of Auckland, company director; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wanganui on Friday, the 26th day of May 1978, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 7th day of April, 1978, presented to the said Court by VIKO HOLDINGS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 47 Boston Road, Auckland; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Timaru on the 10th day of July 1978, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council proposes in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto in connection with improvements to the Pig and Whistle corner, in the Town of Mokorota, on the Wyndham-Clinton road. A plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, and is open for public inspection without fee, during ordinary office hours. All persons having objections to the proposed taking of land must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Department of Justice, P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North, within 40 days of the 20th day of April 1978, being the date of the first publication of this notice. If any such objection shall be made, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

(a) For road: 443 square metres; marked “F” on S.O. Plan 9173.

(b) In connection with road diversion: 120 square metres and 266 square metres; marked “P” and “T” respectively on S.O. Plan 9173.

(3) Sections 17 and 18, in the name of Thomas Meehan, of Dunedin, commercial traveller (deceased), certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 41;

(a) For road: 415 square metres and 105 square metres; marked “G” and “H” respectively on S.O. Plan 9173.

(b) In connection with road diversion: 7 square metres, 590 square metres, and 907 square metres; marked “Q”, “U”, and “V” respectively on S.O. Plan 9173.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu. Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send such written objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
