NOTICE CALLING FINAL MEETING
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of GARDEN AND SEED SUPPLY (RANGIORA) LTD. (in liquidation):

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Court, Adair & Co., chartered accountants, 5 Good Street, Rangiora, on Friday, the 5th day of May 1978, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and if thought fit to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:

That the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator be retained by the liquidator for a period of 2 years, and then disposed of as he shall think fit.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the undersigned at 5 Good Street, Rangiora, not later than 4 o’clock on the 4th day of May 1978.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of BASIL COOPER HARDWARE LIMITED:

NOTICE is hereby given that by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 17th day of April 1978, the following special resolution was passed by the company:

That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Richard Dale Peterson of Wellington, solicitor, be and is hereby appointed as liquidator of the company.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of BASIL COOPER HARDWARE LIMITED (in liquidation):

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at Eighteenth Floor, Challenge House, 105–109 The Terrace, Wellington, on the 12th day of May 1978, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and if thought fit to pass the following resolution with or without amendment as an extraordinary resolution namely:

That all books and papers of the company and the liquidator be handed to Messrs Scott, Hardie Boys, Morrison & Co., solicitors, Wellington, for retention in safe custody for the period required by law and thereafter for disposal by them in such manner as they may think fit.

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not be a member.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 11th day of April 1978, presented to the said Court by BARNES & FOLLAS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland, plumbers; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 17th day of May 1978, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
