Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested and Land
Taken and Vested in Block VIII, Wyndham Survey District
and Block I, Toetoes Survey District, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Southland, hereby proclaims
as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto
and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule
hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section
29, and declares that the road sixthly and eighthly described
in the Second Schedule hereto when so closed and the land
secondly described in the Third Schedule when so taken, shall
vest in Robert George Morton, of Matarua Island, farmer;
and hereby proclaims that the road firstly and secondly
described in the Second Schedule hereto when so closed, shall
vest in John Smith Howe, of Glenham, farmer, subject to
memorandum of mortgage No. 272496, Southland Land
Registry; hereby proclaims that the road thirdly described in
the Second Schedule hereto when so closed, shall vest in the
Dunedin Diocesan Trust Board; and hereby proclaims that

Robert Hill Robinson, of Matarua Island, farmer, subject to

hereby proclaims that the road tenthly, eleventhly, and
