The Traffic (Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The notice dated the 13th day of November 1944, under section 3 of the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act 1936†, which relates to roads situated within Geraldine County (now Strathallan County), is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
Situated within Otamatea County at Mangawhai:
Insley Street.
Kainui Road.
Leslie Street.
Moir Street: From a point 50 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Leslie Street to its north-eastern end.
Pearson Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cromwell Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978.

So much of the notice under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 19th day of April 1938†, which relates to roads situated within Cromwell Borough (Palmerston-Queenstown via Becks Main Highway No. 124) is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Timaru City and Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Timaru City and Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Strathallan County and Timaru City) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 27th day of July 1976†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Timaru City, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Timaru City.
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Jellicoe Street to the northern boundary of Timaru City.
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton)—from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the northern boundary of Timaru City.
Ascot Street.
Blair Street.
Jellicoe Street.
Kellands Hill Road—from a point 250 metres measured westerly along Jellicoe Street from Tasman Street to Old North Road.
Laughton Street.
Mahoneys Hill Road.
Martin Street.
Meadows Road—from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the northern boundary of Timaru City.
Mountain View Road—from Pages Road to a point 400 metres measured southerly generally along Mountain View Road from Pages Road.
Old North Road—from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 50 metres measured northerly generally along Old North Road from the Taitarakihī Creek Bridge.
Pages Road—from a point 50 metres measured north-westerly generally along Pages Road from Morgans Road to the western boundary of Timaru City.
Washdyke Flat Road—from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the western boundary of Timaru City.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Timaru City:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Jellicoe Street to the northern boundary of Timaru City.
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton)—from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 80 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Laughton Street.
Ascot Street.
Doncaster Street.
Laughton Street—from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) to Doncaster Street.
Mahoneys Hill Road.
Martin Street.
Meadows Road—from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 300 metres measured easterly and northerly generally along Meadows Road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
Washdyke Flat Road—from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 160 metres measured westerly generally along Washdyke Flat Road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
SITUATED within Strathallan County adjacent to Timaru City:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from the northern boundary of Timaru City to a point 1300 metres measured northerly generally along the said highway from No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton).

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a cemetery for the common use and benefit of the Reiri family and the people of the district generally.
