The Traffic (Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. The notice dated the 13th day of November 1944, under section 3 of the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act 1936†, which relates to roads situated within Geraldine County (now Strathallan County), is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

Situated within Otamatea County at Mangawhai:

Insley Street.

Kainui Road.

Leslie Street.

Moir Street: From a point 50 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Leslie Street to its north-eastern end.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cromwell Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. So much of the notice under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 19th day of April 1938†, which relates to roads situated within Cromwell Borough (Palmerston-Queenstown via Becks Main Highway No. 124) is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Timaru City and Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Timaru City and Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The Traffic (Strathallan County and Timaru City) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 27th day of July 1976†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Timaru City, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Jellicoe Street to the northern boundary of Timaru City.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Jellicoe Street to the northern boundary of Timaru City.

No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton)—from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 80 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Laughton Street.

Laughton Street—from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) to Doncaster Street.

Washdyke Flat Road—from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 160 metres measured westerly generally along Washdyke Flat Road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).

SITUATED within Strathallan County adjacent to Timaru City:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from the northern boundary of Timaru City to a point 1300 metres measured northerly generally along the said highway from No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton).
