Appointment of the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for scenic purposes.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei City) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

Ormond Road (Western Bypass): from a point 100 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Selwyn Avenue to Russell Road.

Game Season Licences and Licence Fees

PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953 and the Wildlife Regulations 1955, the Minister of Internal Affairs declares that licences to hunt or kill game issued by Acclimatisation Societies in the North Island of New Zealand, shall enable the holder of the licence to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of the North Island. Licences to hunt or kill game issued by Acclimatisation Societies in the South Island of New Zealand, shall enable the holder of the licence to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of the South Island. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits of the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.

The fee for the issue of the licence shall be:

North Island Game Season Licence—twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50).

South Island Game Season Licence—twelve dollars ($12).

These provisions shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1978.
