SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 93 square metres, situated
in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of
Wellington, being part Section 171, Town of Wellington. As
shown on plan S.O. 31231, lodged in the office of the Chief
Surveyor at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 15th day of March 1978.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 20th day of
March 1978
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland
Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Autho-
rity is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities,
and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage
Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960:
And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has
petitioned the Governor-General that certain land be included
in the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage
District:
Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metro-
politan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as
the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order 1978.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
April 1978. -
Inner Area extended—The boundaries of the Inner Area
of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby
altered so as to include the land described in the First and
Second Schedules to this order. -
Determination of financial obligations—The financial
obligations and assessment under the Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage Act 1960 of the body corporate called the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Waitemata shall be
determined on and from the 1st day of April 1978.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata
City, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost
corner of Lot 2 D.P. 50606 in Block XIV Waitemata Survey
District and proceeding north-westerly along the production
of the western boundary of that Lot 2 to the middle of the
stream forming the northern boundary of that Lot 2; thence
north-easterly down the middle of that stream to its inter-
section with the middle of Swanson stream; thence southerly
along the boundary of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metro-
politan Drainage District as described in the Gazette 1970
page 98 to and westerly then northerly along the boundary
of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Dis-
trict as described in the Gazette 1976 page 643 to the point of
commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata
City, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XIV
Waitemata Survey District on the northern boundary of Lot 1
D.P. 69614, 50.29 metres perpendicularly westwards of the
western side of Don Buck Road, and proceeding westerly
along the northern boundary of that Lot 1 and the northern
boundaries of Lot 1 D.P. 34613 for a distance of 120.49 metres
and 15 metres; thence southerly along a right line to and along
the western boundary of Lot 4 D.P. 77301 for a distance of
50 metres from the north-western corner of that Lot 4; thence
easterly along a right line to its intersection with the produc-
tion westwards of the southern boundary of Lot 2 D.P. 77301
for a distance of 20 metres from its southernmost corner and
along the last-mentioned production to a point 50.29 metres
perpendicularly westwards from the western side of Don Buck
Road; thence northerly along a right line 50.29 metres distant
from and parallel to the western side of Don Buck Road to
the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment
Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as The New Zealand Society
for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Canterbury
Branch, Order 1978. - The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handi-
capped (Incorporated), Canterbury Branch, an organisation
approved by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the
Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby
granted exemption in respect of the sheltered workshop at 29
Kilmarnock Street, Christchurch, from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement which
would otherwise be applicable in respect of persons
employed in that workshop; and
(b) Section 34 of the Factories Act 1946 and all the
provisions of the Annual Holidays Act 1944 and the
Minimum Wage Act 1945. - The Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incor-
porated), Canterbury Branch, Order 1969 is hereby con-
sequentially revoked.

Warrant Appointing a Conciliator of the Industrial Concilia-
tion Service Under the Industrial Relations Act 1973

PURSUANT to section 63 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973,
I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
Leonard Fortune
to be a conciliator of the Industrial Conciliation Service for
a term of 3 years on and from the 7th day of April 1978.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Govern-
General, this 28th day of February 1978.

Warrant Appointing a Member and Chairman of the Accident
Compensation Commission Under the Accident Compensa-
tion Act 1972
KEITH HOLYOAKE, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Accident Compensation Act
1972, I Sir Keith Holyoake, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby appoint
Kenneth Leslie Sandford
of Wellington, to be a member and chairman of the Accident
Compensation Commission for a term of 3 years commencing
on the 20th day of December 1977.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 8th day of March 1978.
