Schedule hereto are required to be taken for soil conservation and river control purposes, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and there numbered Survey Office Plan No. 26949 is exhibited at the offices of the Board, M.E.D. Building, 40-44 Cuba Street, Wellington, and it is there available for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands and who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them should state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Town and Country Planning Appcal Board, care of Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, and notice is hereby further given that if any objection is received as aforesaid and unless the objector otherwise requires, a public hearing of any such objection will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land situate in the City of Upper Hutt, lying between No. 2, State Highway and Old Military Road, comprising parts of the old bed of the Hutt River and described as follows:
(a) 3.3134 hectares, being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown blue on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.
(b) 759 square metres, being part old bed Hutt River and being land shown blue on Survey Office Plan No. 26949.
All the foregoing lands being situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMISSION NELSON BAYS REGION FINAL SCHEME
THE Local Government Commission has approved a final scheme providing for the constitution of a Nelson Bays Region.
Copies of the final scheme have been deposited and are available for inspection at this office and the offices of the Nelson City Council, Nelson; Richmond Borough Council, Richmond; Motueka Borough Council, Motueka; Golden Bay County Council, Takaka and Waimea County Council, Nelson.
The Commission's office is situated on the Second Floor, Law Society Building, 26-28 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, and the Commission's postal address is Private Bag, Wellington.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMISSION NORTHLAND REGION PROVISIONAL SCHEME
THE Local Government Commission has prepared a provisional scheme constituting the Northland Region. Copies of the provisional scheme and an explanatory statement are available for inspection at this office and the offices of the following local authorities: Kaitaia Borough Council, Kaitaia; Kaikohe Borough Council, Kaikohe; Whangarei City Council, Whangarei; Hikurangi Town Council, Hikurangi; Dargaville Borough Council, Dargaville; Mangonui County Council, Kaitaia; Whangaroa County Council, Kaeo; Hokianga County Council, Rawene; Bay of Islands County Council, Kawakawa; Whangarei County Council, Kamo; Hobson County Council, Dargaville; Otamatea County Council, Paparoa. Copies of the scheme can also be purchased from the Government Bookshop.
Any person or body interested has a right of objection to the provisional scheme and may give notice in writing to the Commission of the objection and of the grounds of the objection on or before 17 May 1978.
