Declaring an Interest in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, Ohinemuri County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Owen Ross Millar, under and by virtue of Deferred Payment Licence No. 5C/1267, South Auckland Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 23rd day of February 1978.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Incorporated in an Adjoining Crown Lease in Block VI, Waiau Survey District, Amuri County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall when so closed be incorporated, as to the road firstly described therein, in Crown lease L.P. 1787, recorded in Register Book Volume 428, folio 66, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Pettigrew Farming Co. Ltd. at Christchurch, subject to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 867175 and 33581/3 and, as to the road secondly and thirdly described therein, in Crown lease L.P. 1445, recorded in Register Book Volume 213, folio 8, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Ian James Pettigrew and Kenneth Stanley Pettigrew of Waiau, farmers, as tenants-in-common in equal shares.
