Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VI, Pakawau Survey District, Golden Bay County for State Forest Purposes

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for State forest purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used to regularise the State Forest Boundaries. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Nelson and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 19.9864 hectares, being Section 1, Block VI, Pakawau Survey District. As shown on plan S.O. 4545, lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor Nelson, and thereon edged orange. This area of 19.9864 hectares has boundaries of 359 metres to the west and 614 metres to the south and is bounded to the north and east by the Seaford to Maori Point road. The section is approximately 3 kilometres west of Seaford on the Seaford Maori Point road on the southern side of Pakawau Creek.
