Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area of Land in the
Southland Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, the
Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation
issued on the 12th day of January 1967*, declaring an area
of land in the Southland Acclimatisation District to be a
wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6607, being parts of Sections 17, 18, 28,
29, 30, 31, 38, 39, 40, 41 and 42, Block IX, Oteramika
Hundred; area, 576 acres and 32 perches, more or less.
Part certificate of title, Volume B.2, folio 758.

As shown on plan marked 46/29/259, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington,
and thereon edged in red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand
this 1st day of December 1978.

Reappointing a Member to the Otago Catchment Board

1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
reappoints

Lloyd William Hinchey, of Galloway, farmer
to the Otago Catchment Board for a term of 2 years.

Approving the Term of a Licence Granted to the Gisborne
Refrigerating Company Limited for a Tramway Along and
Across Kaiti Esplanade in the City of Gisborne

At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of
November 1978.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to the Tramways Act 1908 and the Tramways
Amendment Act 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby approves the term of the licence granted for
a period of 21 years from the 1st day of February 1978 by
the Gisborne City Council to the Gisborne Refrigerating
Company Limited, a duly incorporated company having its
registered office at Gisborne, authorising the said company to
construct and maintain a private tramway on, along, and
across Kaiti Esplanade in the City of Gisborne, the position
of such a tramway being more particularly delineated on the
plan marked 3/174/9 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works and Development at Wellington.

Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Lower Hutt

December 1978.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer
required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE

Wellington Land District

All that piece of land containing 58 square metres, situated
in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, being part Lot 16 on
D.P. 1153; as shown on plan S.O. 27992, lodged in the office
of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.

Vesting Land Reclaimed from the Tamaki River at Pakuranga
in the Auckland Regional Authority

At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of
December 1978.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 175p of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests
1.0450 hectares of land, as shown edged red on plan marked
M.D. 15919, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of
Transport, at Wellington, in the Auckland Regional Authority.
The said land having been reclaimed from the bed of the
Tamaki River at Pakuranga by the Auckland Regional
Authority under authority of an Order in Council, pursuant
to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 August 1971 (No. 63,
p. 1683).

Adding Land to Mount Aspiring National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of
December 1978.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from
the date hereof, be added to and form part of Mount Aspiring
National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered
and dealt with by the Mount Aspiring National Park Board
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

Otago Land Districtβ€”Vincent County

8.2250 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, Block I,
McKerrow Survey District. S.O. 19113.
