Land Held for the Invercargill-Kingston Railway Set Apart for a Gravel Pit in Block I, Taringatura Survey District, Wallace County

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart subject to an agreement to lease contained in unregistered Railway Lease No. 35187 and subject to rights of way contained in unregistered Railway grant No. 35188 for a gravel pit, from and after the 30th day of November 1978.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provision of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a historic reserve the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be added to the existing Goldfields Park; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Queenstown and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will

be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
