NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Northcote taken on Saturday, 28 October
1978, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to
raise a loan of $550,000 to be known as the Library/Civic
Building Loan 1978, for the purpose of constructing a Library/
Civic Building Complex and incorporating a Village Square
resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 454.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was
460.

The number of informal votes was 3.

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
