Declaring Road in Blocks I and II, Tapapa East Survey District, Matamata County, to be a Government Road and to be stopped and to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Declares the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road; and

(b) Stops the said road;

and further, pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, declares the stopped Government road to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 16th day of November 1978.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in Blocks VIII and XII, Patoka Survey District, and Block IX, Puketapu Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay County Council, and hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second and Third Schedules is hereby closed and that the road firstly, secondly, and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, shall when so closed, vest in Patoka Station Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Hastings, subject to mortgage 257904, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and that the road fourthly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, shall when so closed, vest in Glendowie Farms Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Napier as to an undivided seven twenty-fourth share and in Brett Harry Train, of Patoka, farmer, and Thomas Phillip Lewis Reaney, of Napier, accountant, as to an undivided seventeen twenty-fourth share subject to mortgage 129143, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and that the road firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly, and fifthly described in the said Third Schedule hereto, shall when so closed, vest in Robert Peddle, of Rissington, sheep farmer, and that the road sixthly, seventhly, eighthly, and ninthly described in the said Third Schedule hereto, shall when so closed, vest in Francis John Bull, of Tikokino, farmer, subject to mortgage 231906, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
