Land Held for Better Utilisation Set Apart for an Institution
Established under the Children and Young Persons Act 1974
in the City of Manukau
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for
an institution established under the Children and Young
Persons Act 1974, from and after the 16th day of February
1978.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 8.3050 hectares, situated
in the City of Manukau, and being part Lot 2, D.P. 26562
(part Proclamation 17403); as shown on plan S.O. 52228,
lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and
thereon marked “A”.

Declaring Land Taken for a State Primary School in the
City of Takapuna
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a State primary school, from and after the 16th day of
February 1978.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block I, Maungatapu
Survey District, Waimea County, for State Forest Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for State
Forest Purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto,
such land to be used for addition to land already held for the
Hira State Forest, and notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
the post office at Nelson and is there open for inspection; that
all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land,
should, if they have an objection to the amount or payment
of compensation, make a written objection and send it, within
40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 10 acres, situated in Block
I, Maungatapu Survey District, being Section 39, the District
of Brook Street and Maitai, and being all the land contained
in Crown Grant, Volume 30, folio 102, Nelson Registry. As
shown on Plan 5/300/4, lodged in the office of the Minister
of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon edged
red. This area of 10 acres has dimensions of 16 by 7 chains
approximately, the major dimension lying in a north-south
direction located in the Maitai District and 2 miles and 56
chains due east of the triangulation station in Nelson City
known as Botanical Hill. A stream known as Packer Creek
passes through it.

taken for a parking place and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Masterton, from
and after the 16th day of February 1978.
