Warrant Appointing a Member to the Waikato Valley Authority and Revoking Earlier Appointment

Whereas by a Warrant dated the 13th day of May 1968, and published in the Gazette, No. 34, of 6 June 1968, p. 946, Reginald Ernest Hermans F.I.C.E., District Commissioner of Works, Hamilton, was appointed to be a member of the Waikato Valley Authority representing the Ministry of Works and Development;

And whereas the said Reginald Ernest Hermans has now retired and it is considered expedient to appoint another member to represent the Ministry of Works and Development on the Authority:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 4, subsection 2, paragraph k, of the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, the Minister of Works and Development hereby cancels the appointment of the said Reginald Ernest Hermans and hereby appoints Barry John Butchers, B.E., District Commissioner of Works, Hamilton, to be a member of the Waikato Valley Authority on and after the 1st day of February 1978.
