Immigration Act 1964—Exemptions from Entry Permit Requirements

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Immigration Act 1964, the Minister of Immigration hereby exempts from the requirements of Part II of the Act (relating to permits to enter New Zealand), a further class of persons specified in the schedule hereto; and provided further that the exemption shall apply in respect of the persons specified in the schedule hereto only if entry to New Zealand is made direct from Australia.

SCHEDULE
Additional class of persons to whom exemption applies:

  1. Citizens of the Republic of Ireland who have been granted permission to reside indefinitely without restriction in Australia.
