AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council pro-
poses, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take the fee simple estate in the land, described in the
Schedule hereto, for a certain public work, namely, resub-
division and improvement in a reclamation area proclaimed
under Part II, Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement
Act 1945. The general purpose for which the land to be taken
is to be used is resubdivision and improvement in a reclama-
tion area proclaimed under Part II, Urban Renewal and
Housing Improvement Act 1945. A plan showing the land
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
City Valuer, Fourth Floor, Administration Building, Civic
Centre, Auckland, and is there open for inspection. Every
person directly affected is called upon to set forth in writing
any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the
said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment
of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40
days after the first publication of this notice to the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, 175 The Terrace, Wel-
ington. If any objection is made in accordance with para-
graph d subsection 1, section 6, Public Works Amendment
Act 1973, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land containing:

Firstly, 10.6 perches, being part Lot 1 on Deeds Plan 734,
and being portion of Allotment 19 of Section 8, Suburbs
of Auckland, and being comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 592, folio 317 (as to an undivided two-fifths share);
Volume 528, folio 263 (as to an undivided one-fifth share);
and Volume 898, folio 56 (as to an undivided two-fifths
share); all of the above-described land being situated be-
tween 245 and 249 Ponsonby Road, running through to
Arthur Street, Ponsonby, Auckland.

Secondly, 19 square metres, shown outlined in green on
Auckland City Council Plan No. 738 being part of Lot 6 of
a subdivision of Allotment 19 of Section 8 of the Suburbs
of Auckland, and being part of the land comprised in certifi-
cate of title, Volume 528, folio 207, being situated at 46
Arthur Street, Ponsonby, Auckland.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County
Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit.
the construction of a public road for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the
Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies
open to public inspection at the office of the council in Bank
Street, Te Awamutu. Every person directly affected is hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may
wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking
of such land, not being an objection to the amount or pay-
ment of compensation, and to send such written objection to
the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington,
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.

land Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto has
been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid
classification as from the date on which this notice is first
published, namely 17 September 1977.

DEFINITION OF THE MATAURA CATCHMENT RATING DISTRICT

ALL the lands within the Southland Catchment District shown
edged in red on classification plan, marked Mataura Catch-
ment Rating District, adopted by resolution of the board on
16 September 1977, and signed by the Chairman of the Board
and the Classifier, deposited for inspection during office hours
at the offices of the Southland Catchment Board, 143 Spey
Street, Invercargill.

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the
provisions of section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, to
execute a public work, namely, the construction of a road
and for the purposes of that public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a road.
Notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan
showing the land so required to be taken is deposited at the
office of the Franklin County Council, Rouiston Street,
Pukekohe, and is there open for inspection; all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land should, if they have any objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said land, not being objections to the amount of
payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and
send written objection within forty (40) days after the first
publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board and, if any objection is made in accordance
with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be
held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
