Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block I, Town of Waitaki Bridge, Waitaki County, for Limited Access Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for limited access road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for realignment of State Highway I. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Oamaru and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 0.4 of a perch, being part Section 4, Block I, Town of Waitaki Bridge; as shown on plan M.O.W. 4404 (S.O. 12829) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon coloured blue. The said piece of land is situated on State Highway I near the Town of Waitaki Bridge.

Land Proclaimed as Street in the City of Invercargill

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as street the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience or enjoyment of a road, from and after the 22nd day of September 1977.
