Appointment of Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board to Control and Manage Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domain Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board to control and manage the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as recreation reserves.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Arapawa Island Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Arapawa Island Scenic Reserve to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board.

Addition of Land to the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park

PURSUANT to the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Act 1967, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the 27th day of May 1977, be added to and form part of the Hauraki Gulf maritime park as a reserve for recreation purposes to be administered by the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Board.

Resumption of Unformed Road in Block I, Manapouri Survey District, Wallace County

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Wallace County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Te Anau Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Te Anau domain to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Opotiki County Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Opotiki and revokes the reservation as a reserve for plantation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Levin Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
