S. 9824; thence north-westerly along the generally north-eastern boundary of the Ngatuku Survey District and the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 20030 to the middle of the Pokaiwhenua Stream; thence generally westerly down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 34291; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary, the north-western boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 12209, to Trig 802, Te Teko; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 5, and the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 21950, to the north-eastern corner of part Matanuku 3 Block, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 47, folio 216, being a point on the generally eastern boundary of Putaruru riding hereinbefore described; thence generally northerly along that riding boundary to the point of commencement.

MAUNGATI RIDING

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waikato River in line with the southern boundary of part Section 10, Block V, Patetere South Survey District, being a point on the generally southern boundary of Putaruru riding hereinbefore described and proceeding generally easterly along that boundary and the generally southern and south-eastern boundaries of Lichfield riding hereinbefore described to the generally eastern boundary of Matamata County described in New Zealand Gazette, 1977, page 278; thence generally southerly, generally westerly, and generally northerly along that County boundary to the point of commencement.

Altering Riding Boundaries

Pursuant to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the following Special Order made by the Hauraki Plains County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it, by sections 23 and 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of special order, to make the following riding boundary adjustments to take effect on the eighth day of October 1977.

1. The present Horahia riding of the county as described in Schedule Six of New Zealand Gazette, No. 63 of Thursday, 26 August 1971, page 1701, is abolished. The area of the present Horahia riding as described in Schedule Five of the above-described New Zealand Gazette, Pipiroa, Horahia riding and described in Schedule One annexed hereto.

2. The Ngatea riding of the county as described in Schedule One of New Zealand Gazette, No. 67, of 11 July 1974, page 1418, is abolished and divided into

(a) Ngatea Town Riding as described in Schedule Two annexed hereto.

(b) Ngatea West Riding as described in Schedule Three annexed hereto.

KOPUARAHI PIPIROA, HORAHIA RIDING

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Hauraki Plains County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1936, page 842, in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block X, Wharekawa Survey District, and proceeding easterly along that county boundary to and along that boundary, the south-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. S. 1048, the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S. 21236, a right line across State Highway 25 to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 9, Block XI, Thames Survey District, and Lot 2, D.P. S. 19188, thence generally northerly along the south-western boundaries of Lots 1 to 6, D.P. S. 19188, the north-western boundary of Lot 6 D.P. S. 19188, and the south-western side of Pipiroa Road to the eastern corner of part Section 17, Block I, Waihou Survey District, as shown on D.P. S. 18080; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the southern corner
