Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 8 September 1977. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Abolition of the Rotorua, Ohura and Opotiki Branding Registration Districts and New Branding Registration Districts Constituted in Lieu thereof (Notice No. 1782 Ag. 6/8/2/2)

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 70 of the Animals Act 1967, and to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, under section 10 of the Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section, the Rotorua, Ohura, and Opotiki branding registration districts as at present constituted, are hereby abolished and, in lieu thereof, the districts subscribed in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to constitute branding registration districts and the places named in the said Schedule are hereby appointed to be the registration offices for the said districts.

This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the Gazette.

Rotorua/Taupo	All that area comprising the counties of Rotorua and Taupo, as constituted from time to time and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area	Rotorua.
Eastern Bay of Plenty	All that area comprising the counties of Whakatane and Opotiki as constituted from time to time and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area	Whakatane.
Taumarunui	All that area comprising the county of Taumarunui as constituted from time to time and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area	Taumarunui.
