FISHING VESSELS

The master of any fishing vessel occupying a berth alongside the said wharf or with line or mooring attached thereto shall obtain a licence, from the licensee to occupy such berth and shall pay in advance to the licensee ($15) fifteen dollars per annum.

Licensing Theo Brian Thomas to occupy a Site for two Mooring Piles for One Boat in the Tamaki River


PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Theo Brian Thomas (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Tamaki River, as shown on plan marked M.D. (N) 349 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a set of two mooring piles for one boat as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto. The licence of 27 January 1977* authorising Theo Brian Thomas to occupy sites for four boat mooring piles is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 2 years from the 1st day of July 1977.

(3) The premium payable by the licence shall be forty dollars ($40) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be forty dollars ($40); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing Mervyn Norman Young to occupy a Site for a Set of Five Mooring Piles for One Boat in the Tamaki River

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee


PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 22 June 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Masonic Tavern, Patea:

(a) On every Christmas Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of closing to be 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of closing to be 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wanganui Licensing Committee on 29 June 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to chartered club members, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed club known as Otaihape Club (Incorporated), Taihape:

(a) On every Friday and Christmas Eve (not being days when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Saturday (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 9.30 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 8.30 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day (not being a day when chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve, and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Flashing Amber Lights: Approval of Revolving Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles


PURSUANT to regulation 67 (8) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving or flashing amber light on those broadcasting coverage survey vehicles fitted with extension masts and belonging to the Broadcasting Corporation of New Zealand. This approval is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The vehicle shall be painted a conspicuous colour;
