Authorising the Kaipara Co-op Dairy Company Ltd. to Reclaim
Land at Helensville

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 18th day of July
1977
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
Pursuant to section 175 (3), and subject to sections 176 to 182
of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-
General acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council hereby authorises the Kaipara Co-op Dairy
Company Ltd. to reclaim from the bed of the Kaipara River,
at Helensville, an area of 560 square metres, more or less, as
shown coloured blue on plan M.D. (N) 210, and deposited in
the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland. Provided
that the provisions of section 58 of the Land Act 1948 (which
requires a strip of land to be reserved from sale or other dis-
position of Crown land in certain cases), shall apply to the land
proposed to be reclaimed as if it were land vested in the Crown
being sold by the Crown in any of those cases.

Extending the Time within which the Commission of Inquiry
into the Distribution of Motor Vehicle Parts may Report

ORDER IN COUNCIL
To all to whom these presents shall come, and to:
Michael James Moriarty, of Wellington, company director;
Alexander Campbell Begg, of Christchurch, retired farmer;
and
John Alexander Connolly, of Upper Hutt, chartered ac-
countant:
GREETING:
WHEREAS, by an Order in Council made on the 26th day of
April 1977*, you, the said Alexander Campbell Begg and John
Alexander Connolly, together with one Keith Robert Con-
greve, were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into
and report upon and make recommendations upon the source
of supply, distribution, and pricing of motor vehicle parts
distributed in New Zealand:
And whereas, by an Order in Council made on the 7th day
of June 1977β , the said Commission was reconstituted by
appointing you, the said Michael James Moriarty, to be in
the stead of the said Keith Robert Congreve both a member
of the said Commission and its Chairman:
And whereas, by the said Order in Council made on the
26th day of April 1977, you, the said Michael James Moriarty,
Alexander Campbell Begg, and John Alexander Connolly, are
required to report, not later than the 31st day of July 1977,
your findings and opinions on the matters aforesaid, together
with such recommendations as you think fit to make in respect
thereof:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting
should be extended as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry
Act 1908, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby extend until the 30th day
of November 1977 the time within which you, the said Michael
James Moriarty, Alexander Campbell Begg, and John Alexander
Connolly, are so required to report, without prejudice
to the continuation of the liberty conferred on you by the
said Order in Council made on the 26th day of April 1977, to
report your proceedings and findings from time to time if you
should judge it expedient so to do:
And I hereby confirm the said Order in Council made on
the 26th day of April 1977, and the Commission thereby con-
stituted, save as modified by the said Order in Council made
on the 7th day of June 1977 and by these presents.
Given in Executive Council under the hand of his Excel-
lency the Governor-General this 26th day of July 1977.
