NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND UNDER PART III OF THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957 BY THE W. R. WILLIAMS MEMORIAL FOR THE MISSIONS TO SEAMEN TRUST BOARD INCORPORATED:

Application has been made to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington by the W. R. Williams Memorial for the Missions to Seamen Trust Board (hereinafter called 'the Trust Board') for consent to a scheme under the provisions of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

The application has been made as the Trust Board considers that it is impossible and impractical to carry out the terms of a certain declaration of trust dated 29 June 1914. The scheme provides that the Trust Board is to acquire premises to be used by the Missions to Seamen in Wellington for the benefit of seamen in the Port of Wellington, regulates the use and control of those premises, and provides for the investment of any surplus capital and the payment of income that it receives from any such investment.

The scheme is available for perusal during office hours at the offices of the Supreme Court at Wellington or at the offices of the solicitors for the Trust Board, Messrs Bell Gully & Co., Europa House, 109-117 Featherston Street, Wellington.

The date proposed for the hearing of the application by the Supreme Court at Wellington is the 17th day of August 1977.

Any person desiring to oppose the scheme must give written notice of his intention so to do to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington and to the Trust Board and to the Attorney General, not less than 7 days before the aforesaid date for the hearing.

The address of the Trust Board for service of notices is at the offices of Messrs Bell Gully & Co., at the above-mentioned address.

Dated at Wellington this 12th day of July 1977.
