Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 23 June 1977, made an order revoking the order made by the Committee, on 10 February 1977, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, on 3 March 1977, page 462, for the licensed premises known as Lady Bowen Hotel, Thames.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 23 June 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Rob Roy Hotel, Waihi:

(a) On every Friday and Saturday (not being days when licensed premises are required by law to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being New Year’s Eve) and also on Christmas Eve, the closing hour to be not later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day (not being days when licensed premises are required by law to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the closing hour to be not later than 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(c) Subject to the conditions that the dining room remain open until 8 o’clock in the evening, and also that the bistro bar remain open, and the supply of hot pies be made available until the closing of the bar.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises Revoked—Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawke’s Bay Licensing Committee on 13 June 1977 made an order revoking a previous order made by the committee on 28 March 1977 in respect of the licensed premises known as Wanstead Tavern, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 41, on 14 April 1977, page 1063.

Hop Marketing Committee Election (No. 1762 Ag. 60546)

PURSUANT to clause II of the Schedule to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of 5 producers’ representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington, and at Nelson; also at the following post Offices, viz, Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield, and Nelson.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 20 July 1977.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nelson.

Nomination must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on 14 September 1977.

PURSUANT to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967, and to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, under section 10 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said sections 69 and 94, the Director, Animal Health Division, of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, hereby gives notice that the woolmarking preparation set out in the schedule hereto (a product of Ethical Agents Limited, Auckland) is approved for sale and general use in marking wool on sheep.
