Change of the Purpose of a Part of a Reserve and Vesting in the Takapuna City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for scenic purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Takapuna, in trust, for that purpose.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Pukekohe Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Pukekohe, in trust, for that purpose.

ALLOTMENT 319, Suburban Section 2, Pukekohe Parish, situated in Block XV, Drury Survey District: area, 4211 square metres, more or less (S.O. Plan 47139).

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage and Appointment to Control and Manage

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Taupo County Council, as published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 70, 23 June 1977, page 1763, and appoints the Lake Taupo Reserves Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

SECTION 6, Block I, Waitahanui Survey District: area, 2.3385 hectares, more or less. Subject to a right of way 20.12 metres wide along the banks of the Hinemaiaia Stream created by Gazette No. 69, 7 October 1926, Volume III, page 2896 (S.O. Plan 48599).

The Central Hawke’s Bay College Board of Governors Notice 1977

PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Central Hawke’s Bay College Board of Governors Notice 1977.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the first day of August 1977.

  2. The constitution of the board of governors for Central Hawke’s Bay College is hereby varied so that the board shall consist of:

(a) One member appointed by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board;
(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
(c) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Waipukurau School or the Terrace School district;
(d) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Waipawa School district;
(e) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Ruataniwha School district, the Onga Onga School district, the Springhill School district, the Tikokino School district, the Otane School district, the Pukehou School district, the Poukawa School district, the Argyll East School district, the Wakarara School district or the Te Hauke Maori School district;
(f) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Pukeora School district, the Takapau School district, the Marakeke School district, the Hatuma School district, the Wallingford School district, the Flemington School district, the Porangahau School district, the Wilder School district, the Oueroa School district, the Ponana School district, the Punawaitai School district, the Ashley Clinton School district, the Makaretu North School district, the Orapa School district;
(g) One member appointed by the Waipukurau District Council;
(h) One member appointed by the Waipawa Borough Council; and
(i) One member co-opted by the board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the school districts to which paragraphs (c), (d), (e) and (f) of clause 2 of this notice apply.

  2. This notice is in substitution for the Central Hawke’s Bay College Board of Governors Order 1961*.
