give notice that the Central Otago Licensing Committee on 15 June 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Hotel Capell, Lake Hawea:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being New Year’s Eve, nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee on 10 June 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the chartered club known as Cosmopolitan Club (Mount Maunganui) Incorporated, Mount Maunganui:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) the hour of opening shall be 9 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 8 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Thursday (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every Friday, Saturday, and on Christmas Eve (not being days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being New Year’s Eve) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(e) It shall be a condition of this order that food, tea, and coffee be provided in the public bar during the period that the premises are open for the sale of liquor.

(a) On every Monday to Thursday of each week (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening to be as usual 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday and Saturday of each week (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening to be 10 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On every Christmas Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

(c) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Eve and the hour of closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
