Maori Land Development Notice
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Hamilton, 1977, No. 13.
- The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
- The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a cemetery for the common use and benefit of the Te Whanua a Iharaira Houkamau and the people of New Zealand generally.

Special Order Made by Otorohanga County Council Altering Riding Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the following Special Order made by the Otorohanga County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:

The present division of the County of Otorohanga into nine ridings is revoked and in lieu thereof the said county shall be redivided into nine ridings to be called Te Rauamoa Riding, Honikiwi Riding, Korakonui Riding, Ngaroma Riding, Kio Kio Riding, Paewhenua Riding, Waipa Riding, Kawhia North Riding, and Otorohanga Riding (Community) which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto.

The alteration of riding boundaries shall take effect on the date on which this special order is gazetted.

For accounting, rating, and other financial purposes, the alteration of riding boundaries shall be deemed to have taken place at the commencement of the financial year in which the provisions of this special order come into force.
And that public notice be given of the purport of this resolution together with notice that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the council to be held on Tuesday, 26 April 1977, at the Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.
And that a copy of the proposed Special Order be deposited at the office of the council, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga, and be open for public inspection during office hours until immediately preceding the date of confirmation.
SCHEDULE
OTOROHANGA RIDING
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the right bank of the Waipa River with the south-eastern boundary of part Otorohanga E3C Block, situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly along the last-mentioned boundary, the north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 29834, the north-western boundary of part Otorohanga E4B Block, and the western side of Kakamutu Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 17789; thence generally easterly to and along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Lots 9 and 10, D.P. 17789; to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 10, D.P. S. 7190, and Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 17789 to the north-western corner of the said Lot 1; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Otorohanga N2B2 to the western side of the North Island main trunk railway; thence southerly along that side to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Lot 43, D.P. S. 7771; thence easterly to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of Lot 16, D.P. S. 7771, a right line across Harpers Avenue to and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 35, D.P. S. 7771 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-easterly along a right line to the western corner of part Lot 3, D.P. 9357, situated in Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, as comprised in C.T. 840/152; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of parts Lot 4, D.P. 29570, and Lot 2, D.P. S. 9170 to the northern corner of Lot 13, D.P. 9357; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 13 to the north-western side of State Highway 3; thence north-easterly along that side to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 11, D.P. S. 3233; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of the said Lot 11 to its south-eastern corner; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4, D.P.
