CORRIGENDUM

IN notice No. 1688; Ag. 60025 (Restricted Area for the Production of Honey), Published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 46, of 28 April 1977, page 1230, line 15 of the Schedule, beginning “the Hikutaia River”, and line 16 beginning “District”, are to be interchanged.


Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Southland Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge (Part Wairio Survey District)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 27th day of February 1964,* declaring an area of land in the Wairio Survey District, and in the Southland Acclimatisation District, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 14th day of June 1977.

State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 63B (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forest Amendment Act 1976) I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Craigieburn State Forest Park.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY—MALVERN COUNTY

RURAL Section 40555, situated in Blocks V and IX, Grasmere Survey District; area, 57.9020 hectares, more or less (S.O. Plan 13735).

Rural Section 40556, situated in Block XII, Harper Survey District and Block IX, Grasmere Survey District: area, 148.3140 hectares, more or less (S.O, Plan 13735).

As shown on plan S. 66/10 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of June 1977.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Relinquishments, Cancellations, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers in the New Zealand Cadet Forces

PURSUANT to section 59 of the Defence Act 1971, the Minister of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, promotions, extensions, relinquishments, cancellations, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

SEA CADET CORPS

Resignations

Lieutenant John Gall resigns his commission, with effect from 31 May 1977.

Transfers

Lieutenant John Patrick Roche is transferred to the Supernumerary List for a period of one year, with effect from 12 April 1977.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Promotions

Flying Officer Peter Mintorn Vaughan to be Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 1 June 1977.

Extensions

Squadron Leader A. J. Lowry is granted an extension of his cadet commission until 20 May 1980.

Flight Lieutenant J. C. Pattie is granted an extension of his commission until 31 May 1978.

Flight Lieutenant D. H. Royal is granted an extension of his commission until 6 May 1979.

Flight Lieutenant Alwyn Erasmus Boyd is granted an extension of his cadet commission until 1 November 1979.

Flight Lieutenant Graham Barry Wangford is granted an extension of his commission until 13 May 1980.

Flying Officer E. W. Plank is granted an extension of his cadet commission until 25 June 1980.

Cancellations

The notice published in Gazette, No. 102, 23 September 1976, p. 2178, relating to the retirement of Flight Lieutenant Alwyn Erasmus Boyd, is cancelled.
