ALL that piece lying above mean high-water mark within an area bounded by a line commencing at Pukerau Point in Block IV, Whangamoa Survey District, and proceeding due north along a right line to the parallel of latitude 40° 30' south; thence due east along that parallel of latitude to its intersection with meridian of longitude 174° 30' east; thence south-westerly along a right line to a point in Block XXVI, Gore Survey District, bearing 45° true distant 3.2 kilometres from Harding Point; thence due south for 5 kilometres; thence generally south-westerly, southerly, and westerly along the middle of the Pelorus Sound to a point due north of Cullens Point in Block VIII, Wakamarina Survey District; thence due south to Cullens Point; thence generally south-easterly along the eastern watershed of Havelock Harbour and the Kaituna River to Trig. Station MM, Mount Cullen, in Block XIII, Linkwater Survey District; thence generally southerly along the said watershed to Trig. Station GG in Block I, Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence westerly along the middle line of the Kaituna River to a point in line with the middle line of Atahua Creek; thence generally westerly to and westerly and south-westerly up the middle line of the said creek, following the southern branch, to its source; thence southerly along a right line to Trig. Station Mount Sunday in Block VI, Onamalutu Survey District; thence generally southerly and south-westerly along the summit of the Richmond Range to Wards Pass; thence south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Top 2 in Block XV, Motupiko Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Square 34, and that boundary produced across No. 63 Provincial State Highway to its southern side; thence south-westerly along the southern side of the aforesaid No. 63 Provincial State Highway to the westernmost corner of Section 6, Square 34; thence easterly along the northern side of a public road to the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Section 6; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Section 11 to and along the summit of the St. Arnaud Range to Belvedere Peak; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 11 to and approximately 1 kilometre south-west of Gloriana Peak, being the junction of the said Spenser Mountains with the watershed between the Glenroy River and the tributaries of the Maruia River; thence generally north-westerly, north-easterly, and again north-westerly along the eastern boundary of the West Coast Electoral District hereinbefore described to the middle of the mouth of the Kahurangi River; thence generally north-easterly, south-easterly, and again north-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the sea-coast, crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets to the point of commencement, including all adjacent islands and excluding the Nelson Electoral District, hereinafter described.
