Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 6 May 1977 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) The closing of the premises after the usual hours of closing on every Friday and Saturday (not being days on which licensed premises are required by law to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, and not being New Year’s Eve), and also on Christmas Eve, but not later than 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) The closing of the premises after the usual hours of closing on New Year’s Eve, but not later than 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

With the condition that the licensees make provision for the supply of food—and the Committee suggests sandwiches and pies—up until the closing of the bar.

With the condition that the licensee makes provision for the supply of food—and the Committee suggests sandwiches and pies—up until the closing of the bar.

The Milk Delivery Allowances Notice 1976, Amendment No. 2

PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1967, the Milk Prices Authority hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Milk Delivery Allowances Notice 1976, Amendment No. 2.
    (ii) This notice shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of April 1977.
    (iii) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
    (iv) This notice amends the Milk Delivery Allowances Notice 1976* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal notice”) as varied by the Milk Delivery Allowances Notice 1976, Amendment No. 1†.

  2. The principal notice is hereby further varied by replacing the Schedule thereto with the following.

SCHEDULE
STANDARD RATES OF MARGINS AND ALLOWANCES PAYABLE IN RESPECT OF THE DELIVERY OF TOWN MILK

Nature of Service Margin or Allowance at the rate of cents per litre

  1. Delivery to shop dairies for resale in any quantity ..... ..... ..... 3.81
  2. Delivery to commercial users or consumers in quantities of:
    (a) Less than 12 litres per delivery ..... 7.63
    (b) 12 litres and over per delivery ..... 3.81
