Amending a Declaration Taking Land for Better Utilisation in Blocks XV and XVI, Cambridge Survey District, Matamata County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the Declaration dated the 2nd day of February 1977, published in New Zealand Gazette, 10 March 1977, No. 28 at page 561, taking land for better utilisation, pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, by omitting the piece of land being part Sections 144 and 145, Block XVI, Cambridge Survey District, containing 5.3804 hectares, firstly described in the Schedule thereto, and substituting the land described in the following Schedule.

Declaring Land Taken for a Technical Institute in the City of Dunedin

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken subject to a right of way over the part shown coloured yellow on the plan on certificate of title, Volume 159, folio 112, in favour of the owner or owners for the time being of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 159, folio 111, the right of way being limited in height to a clear space of 9 feet 8 inches above the surface of the land affected thereby, for a technical institute, from and after the 9th day of June 1977.

Declaring Land Taken for the Generation of Electricity (Housing) in the Borough of Alexandra

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken saving and excepting all the minerals within the meaning of the Land Act 1948 on or under the land and reserving always to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said minerals a right of ingress, egress, and regress over the said land, and subject to the reservations to the Crown of the right, at any time and from time to time, without being deemed to commit a trespass and without payment of compensation to enter upon the said land, and thereon to maintain, inspect, repair or reconstruct water races, drains, and all other works which the Minister of Works and Development deems necessary for the supply of water to the said land or to any other land, for the generation of electricity (housing), from and after the 9th day of June 1977.
