Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Alteration of Boundaries of the Dunedin Fire District
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1973, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1977.

The boundaries of the Dunedin Fire District are hereby altered by including in the district the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, commencing at Trig Station Mopanui, situated in Blocks I and IV, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Section 52, Block I, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, and its production to the northernmost corner of Section 51, Block I, aforesaid; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Sections 51 and 50, Block I, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the northernmost corner of Section 49, Block I, aforesaid; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that section and its production to the south-western side of Blueskin Road; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of that road to the generally northern side of Green Road; thence generally westerly and southerly along the northern and western sides of that road and the production of the last-mentioned side to the south-western side of Mount Cargill Road; thence south-easterly, north-westerly, and generally south-westerly along the south-western, north-eastern and south-western sides of Mount Cargill Road to the easternmost corner of Section 17, Block VII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that section to its south-western corner; thence south-westerly along a right line to the north-western corner of Section 48, Block VIII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 48, 46, and 45, Block VIII, aforesaid, to the westernmost point of the last-mentioned section; thence north-westerly along a right line between that point and the westernmost corner of Section 40, Block VIII, aforesaid, to its intersection with the middle of No. 1 State Highway; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of No. 1 State Highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section I of 8 Block II, aforesaid; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to the southern side of Double Hill Road; thence north-easterly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 2 of 18 Block II, aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said section to the southern side of Manse Road; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Manse Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 2813; thence northerly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section, thence north-easterly to and along the north-western boundary of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Deeds Plan 193, and its production to the middle of No. 1 State Highway; thence north-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point due west of Kilmog Trig; thence due east to Trig Station M, Porteous Hill, and its production to the northern boundary of Section 34, Block 1, Waikouaiti Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the north-western corner of Lot 2, D.P. 2773, and its production to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence generally south-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the sea to a point due south of the southernmost corner of Section 44, Block V, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence due north to the southernmost corner of that section; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that Section 44 to its westernmost corner; thence westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 19, Block V, aforesaid; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that section and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the generally south-western boundary of Section 10, Block V, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to its south-western corner; thence north-westerly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of that land shown on D.P. 584; thence westerly along a right line to the point of commencement.
