A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 11 of the
Electricity Act 1968, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for works, appliances, and conveniences necessary,
directly or indirectly, for the generation of electricity.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 3 acres 1 rood 24 perches,
being Section 2, Block 1, Cromwell Survey District. All
certificate of title, Volume 39, folio 79.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of May 1977.

Exempting Certain Maori Land from Rates

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 2nd day
of May 1977
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 149 of the Rating Act 1967, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby exempts
the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto
from the liability for the payment of rates.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block I of the Whanga-
ruru Survey District and described as follows:
