PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for Post Office purposes (residence) from and after the 28th day of April 1977.

Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of Roderick Douglas Matheson, of Leigh, Farmer, Over Land Situated in Block I, Rodney Survey District, County of Rodney, Held for the University of Auckland under the Public Works Act 1928, Assented To

WHEREAS by a declaration dated the 28th day of February 1977, land was taken under the Public Works Act 1928, being part Whakatuwhenua Block; and whereas Roderick Douglas Matheson, of Leigh, farmer, was entitled to compensation in respect of his interest in the said land; and whereas the Minister of Works and Development agreed to grant to the said Roderick Douglas Matheson rights of way over the land held for the University of Auckland in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid; and whereas the said Roderick Douglas Matheson has agreed to accept such grant of rights of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation; now, therefore, the Minister of Works and Development hereby gives notice pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928 that he assents to the agreement herein before referred to.
