LOCAL AUTHORITIES LOANS ACT 1956, SECTION 47 (1)
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tapa-
nui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $310,000, authorised to be raised by the said
Council under the aforementioned Act, such loan to be used
for the installing and treatment of sewage, the said Council
hereby makes a special rate of $130 per annum upon all rate-
able property within the Borough of Tapanui; and that such
special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the first
day of August in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

OTAKI AND PORIRUA TRUSTS AMENDMENT BILL

The Otaki and Porirua Trusts Board, established by the Otaki
and Porirua Trusts Act 1943, gives notice that it intends to
apply for leave to bring into the House of Representatives the
Otaki and Porirua Trusts Amendment Bill. The object of the
Bill is to empower the Board to carry on the business of
farming upon any additional lands acquired by it.

The promoter of the Bill is the Otaki and Porirua Trusts
Board, whose address for communications or notices is at
Church House, 18 Eccleston Hill, Wellington (P.O. Box 12-046,
Wellington North). A copy of the Bill may be inspected at
that address.

NOTICE OF CHANGE IN PARTNERSHIP

Notice is given by Messrs Burnard Bull & Co., Solicitors,
Gisborne, that David Francis Court, a member of that partner-
ship firm, has retired from the partnership and from legal
practice, as from and including the 31st day of March 1977.
This notice is given pursuant to section 39 of the Partner-
ship Act 1908.

The adjusted weighted average sale price for the auction sale
of wool held on 30 March 1977 at Christchurch was 208.78
cents per kilogram. The specified percentage for the sale and
nationally for private buying of wool is, therefore, 3.30 per-
cent. This specified percentage applies from midnight on 29
March 1977 until midnight on 4th April 1977.
