IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of KEN HARRIS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at 81 Hereford Street, Christ-
church, and carrying on business as building contractors:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on
the 2nd day of March 1977 presented to the said Court by
W. W. KEIGHLEY & COMPANY LIMITED, a duly incorporated
company having its registered office at 48 Fitzgerald Avenue,
Christchurch, and carrying on business as timber suppliers;
and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Christchurch on the 30th day of March 1977
at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory
of the said company desirous to support or oppose the
making of an order on the said petition may appear at the
time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose;
and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the under-
signed to any creditor or contributory of the said company
requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the
same.

for service not later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the

HAWKE'S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of
Otene Road, and for the purpose of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and
notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Hawke's
Bay County Council, Omahu Road, Hastings, and is there
open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of
the said public work or by the taking of the said land should,
if they have any objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections
to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such
objections in writing and send the same within fifty-four (54)
days of the first publication of this notice to the Secretary,
Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Tribunals Division,
Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. If any objection is
made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the
hearing.

SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1359 square metres, more or
less, situated in Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District, being
part of the Maori Land Court Subdivision known as Karamu
AY Section 2 Block, being part of the land in certificate of
title 197/55 (Hawkes Bay Registry), being more particularly
shown on a plan numbered S.O. 7016, lodged in the office of
the Chief Surveyor at Napier, the said land being situated on
the north-eastern side of Otene Road, proceeding in a north-
westerly direction to the junction with Ruahapia Road.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Petone, taken on 12 March 1977 on the
proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan
of $230,000 to be known as the Land Purchase Loan, No. 5,
1976, resulted as follows:

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR SERVICE LANE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui City Council
intends to undertake a certain work, namely, a service lane,
and for the purpose of such work the parcel of land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken pursuant to
the Public Works Act 1928; and notice is further given that
a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is deposited
in the office of the city planner at the offices of the said
council, situate at Guyton Street, Wanganui, and may there
be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office
hours. All persons directly affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any objections thereto (not being
an objection to the amount of payment of compensation)
must state their objection in writing and send the same to the
Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeals Board,
Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, so
as to reach him no later than forty (40) days after the first
publication of this notice, and that if any objection is made
in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situate in the land registration district
of Wellington and City of Wanganui containing 408 square
metres (408 mΒ²) more or less, being part Section 43, Left
Bank Wanganui River, situate in Block V, Ikitara Survey
District, being all of the land remaining in Deeds Index,
Volume 5, folio 670 (Wellington Registry).

The land described is approximately 80.91 metres in length
and varies in width from 4.47 metres to 10.65 metres, and runs
from Taylor Street, and is known as Garrett Street, Wanganui.

IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of WATTIE INDUSTRIES LIMITED, a duly incorporated
company having its registered office at Hastings in New
Zealand and carrying on business as a holding companyβ€”
Applicant:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 7th day of February 1977, con-
firming the reduction of paid-up capital of the above-named
company from $26,743,401 to $25,943,401 and the minute,
approved by the Court, showing with respect to the capital of
the company as altered, the several particulars required by the
above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of
Companies on the 8th day of March 1977.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

Following the sanctioning of a scheme of arrangement on
the 7th day of February 1977 whereby each of the existing
500,000 fully paid 6% cumulative preference 'A' shares of
$2 each and each of the existing 300,000 6% cumulative
preference 'B' shares of $2 each in the capital of the
company were cancelled and in exchange therefor 1,600,000
ordinary shares of 50 cents each credited as fully paid up
were issued with a consequent reduction of share capital
of $800,000 the capital of Wattie Industries Limited is as
follows:
