(b) The proportions in which rates are to be imposed
under that Act on the several classes of land are
as follows:

(c) The classification list shows the division of properties
into classes to be rated according to a graduated
scale.
(d) The classification list may be inspected at the Board's
offices, 16 Vautier Street, Napier, during a period
of 28 days hereafter.
(e) The classification list is deemed to be a special roll
of ratepayers for the purposes of the Local Author-
ities Loans Act 1956.
(f) Any person who is dissatisfied in respect of any matter
appearing in the classification list has the rights of
appeal provided for by section 103 of the Soil Con-
servation and Rivers Control Act 1941, as substituted
by section 18 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Amendment Act 1959, which rights, and any
other right to commence proceedings affecting the
classification, must be exercised within 49 days here-
after. Appeals will normally be made to a Magistrate's
Court, but appeals in respect of the method of making
or of the form or validity of the classification as a
whole may be made to the Administrative Division
of the Supreme Court only.
(g) The classification has been made by Messrs P. K. Simons
and G. M. Jones.
(h) Copies of the instructions given by the board to the
classifiers and of the resolutions of the board relative
to the classification may be inspected at the Hawke's
Bay Catchment Board Offices, 16 Vautier Street,
Napier, during the period specified in paragraph (d)
of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that part of the Hawke's Bay and Patangata Land Districts
of approximately 30 square kilometres, being the catchment
of the Makara Stream, upstream of the Silver Range Gorge,
including the Makara, Wharemate, and Silver Range streams
and their catchments. The area is shown more particularly
on the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board Classification Plan
Number 1387, Sheets 1, 2, and 3, and described in Appendix
IV of the classification report.

MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mangonui County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of
a public road; and for the purposes of such public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken;
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited at the County Office, Kaitaia,
and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during
ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution
of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who
have any well grounded objection to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
must state their objection in writing, and serve the same
within forty (40) days after the first publication of this notice
(4 March 1977) to the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, Wellington (P.O. Box 3241) and a public hearing of
the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise
requires, and the objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
1 acre 1 rood 31.8 perches, more or less, being part
Allotment 18, Oruru Parish, as shown coloured blue on S.O.
Plan 46151.
NOTE: The land to be taken comprises the section of the
present Pamapuria-Taipa Road, between the Pakonga River
and the Old Peria Hall and store.

NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ORDER AND MINUTE
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of MAYNE NICKLESS LIMITED, a company duly
incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered
office in the City of Wellington, and carrying on business
as an investment company:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 18th day of February 1977,
confirming the reduction of paid-up capital of the above-named
company from $1,116,000 to $674,000 and the minute approved
by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the
company as altered, the several particulars required by the
above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of
Companies on the 4th day of March 1977.
The said Minute is in the words and figures following:
"The capital of Mayne Nickless Limited is $674,000
divided into 337,000 fully paid ordinary shares of $2 each
having been reduced from $1,116,000 divided into 450,000
fully paid ordinary shares of $2 each and 216,000 fully paid
ordinary shares of $1 each."

THE adjusted weighted average sale price for the auction
sale of wool held on 24 February 1977 at Christchurch was
211.60 cents per kilogram. The specified percentage for the
sale and nationally for private buying of wool is, therefore,
3.92 percent. This specified percentage applies from midnight
on 23 February 1977 until midnight on 2 March 1977.
THE adjusted weighted average sale price for the auction
sale of wool held on 22 February 1977 at Auckland was
209.79 cents per kilogram. The specified percentage for the
sale and nationally for private buying of wool is, therefore,
3.52 percent. This specified percentage applies from midnight
on 21 February 1977 until midnight on 23 February 1977.
