Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Wairoa Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for a local purpose (community buildings), and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Wairoa, in trust, for that purpose.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing 2342 hectares more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high water mark of the sea in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 15376, Block XI, Arowhenua Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the mean high water mark of the sea to its intersection with the general northern boundary of the parcel marked A on S.O. Plan 13954; thence easterly generally and south-westerly generally along the general northern and south-eastern boundaries of that parcel and the western boundary of the parcel marked D on S.O.
