The land is at present being used as part of a service lane between Henry Street and Seymour Street in the Borough of Blenheim and is known as Fourth Lane.
The land is a narrow strip approximately 0.9 of a metre wide on the northern side of Fourth Lane extending from the Henry Street end of Fourth Lane for approximately 57.33 metres.
The land is bounded on the northern side partly by Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 3560, being the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1D, folio 1451 (Marlborough Registry), and partly by land owned by the Crown. The southern side is bounded by the existing service lane.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to execute a certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928; and notice is further given that a plan showing the said land is deposited at the office of the council, situated at Springs Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the said work or by the taking of the said land and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North, so as to reach him not later than 21st day of March 1977, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

SEDdon SHIELD DISTRICTS TROTTING JACKPOT EMPOWERING
NOTICE is hereby given that Brian Wotherspoon Nixon, Andrew Archer, Arthur Edward Cresswell, and Philip Digby James, as trustees of the jackpot pool in respect of non-terminating jackpots instituted by the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated), the Reefton Trotting Club (Incorporated),
and the Marlborough Trotting Club (Incorporated), in the year 1971 and first conducted by the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated) at its meeting on the 18th day of October 1971 (none of which jackpots was struck by any investor) hereby gives notice of their intention to apply for leave to bring in a Bill authorising the division of the net sum lying to the credit of the above-mentioned jackpot pool (less costs) into three equal parts and that one of such parts shall be paid to each of them the Greymouth Trotting Club (Incorporated), the Reefton Trotting Club (Incorporated), and the Marlborough Trotting Club (Incorporated) for the sole purpose of using such respective part in conducting a terminating non-contributory jackpot by each of the above-mentioned clubs at its first trotting meeting after the passing of any Act passed, in pursuance of the above-mentioned Bill.
The promoters of the Bill are the abovenamed BRIAN WOTHERSPOON NIXON, ANDREW ARCHER, ARTHUR EDWARD CRESSWELL and PHILIP DIGBY JAMES, whose addresses for service are at the offices of Messrs Guinness & Kitchingham, Barristers and Solicitors, Guinness Street, Greymouth.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the office of the Magistrate Courts in Greymouth, Westport, and Blenheim.

The specified percentage for the sale and nationally for private buying of wool is, therefore, 6.09 percent. This specified percentage applies from midnight on 1 February 1977 until midnight on 10 February 1977.

The specified percentage for the sale and nationally for private buying of wool is, therefore, 5.22 percent. This specified percentage applies from midnight on 10 February 1977 until midnight on 15 February 1977.
