Notice Restricting the Issue of Fishing Licences, Permissions, or Fishing Permits for Rock Lobsters in New Zealand Fisheries Waters (Notice No. 1851 Ag. 42/14/0/1)
Pursuant to section 119 of the Fisheries Act 1908, as inserted by section 2 of the Fisheries Amendment Act 1977, the Minister of Fisheries hereby declares that as from the date of publication of this notice no further licences, permissions, or fishing permits shall be granted or given, under Part I of this Act, in respect of rock lobster fisheries within New Zealand fisheries waters.

Notice Restricting the Issue of Fishing Licences, Permissions, or Fishing Permits for Eels in Lake Ellesmere (Notice No. 1852 Ag. 42/21/0/1)
Pursuant to section 119 of the Fisheries Act 1908, as inserted by section 2 of the Fisheries Amendment Act 1977, the Minister of Fisheries hereby declares that as from the date of publication of this notice no further licences, permissions, or fishing permits shall be granted or given, under Part I of this Act, in respect of the eel fisheries within New Zealand fisheries waters of Lake Ellesmere.
Lake Ellesmere is defined as the lake proper and all inflow rivers and streams in an area bounded to the north by the main north-south railway line extending from Templeton Railway Station to where the line crosses the north bank of the Rakaia River, and to the south by the seaward side of Kaitorete Spit. The spit is defined as extending from the westernmost point of Ohahoa Bay, Banks Peninsula, to the seaward side of the northern bank of the outlet of the Rakaia River. If the lake is open to the sea the spit can be considered as extending across the seaward side of the opening in a line from bank to bank. To the west the area is bounded by the northern bank of the Rakaia River, extending from the seaward side of the northern bank of the outlet to the main north-south railway line, and to the east by a line extending from Templeton Railway Station to the westernmost point of Ohahoa Bay.
