NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND
PURSUANT to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that National Mutual Casualty Insurances Ltd. has now ceased its operations within New Zealand and intends, on the expiration of 3 months after the first publication of this notice, to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand.
By virtue of an order of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, given by the Honourable Mr Justice Starke, on 15 September 1977, and pursuant to the Companies Act 1961 (Victoria), the business of National Mutual Casualty Insurance Ltd., has now merged with the business of the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Ltd., and all liabilities obligations or duties of National Mutual Casualty Insurance Ltd., are now liabilities obligations and duties of The National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Ltd.
Given at Wellington this 6th day of December 1977.

“Following the sanctioning of a Scheme of Arrangement on the 8th day of November 1977, whereby each of the existing 75,000 5 percent “A” cumulative preference shares of $2.00 each were cancelled and 63,000 ordinary shares of $1.00 each credited as fully paid up were issued in exchange therefor with a consequent reduction of share capital of $150,000 the capital of Mason Industries Ltd. is as follows:
“Authorised capital—$8,000,000.00

“Issued and paid up capital—$2,867,200.00 divided into 50,000 5½ percent “B” cumulative preference shares of $2.00 each and 2,767,200 ordinary shares of $1.00 each, having been reduced from $2,954,200 divided into 75,000 5 percent “A” cumulative preference shares of $2.00 each, 50,000 5½ percent “B” cumulative preference shares of $2.00 each and 2,704,200 ordinary shares of $1.00 each.”
