PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby declares that the New Zealand Motor Trade Certification Board Notice 1974* is amended by adding the following paragraph to clause 2 of the said notice:

“(i) One member appointed by the Motor Vehicle Dealers Institute (Inc.)”.

Maternity Notice

PURSUANT to section 112 (4) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives notice that Kanoo Dayal Nana Patel, M.B., CH.B.(N.Z.), of 262A Queen Street, Onehunga, Auckland, has notified the Minister that he is unwilling to afford medical services in relation to maternity benefits, on the terms provided for in section 112 of the Social Security Act 1964, and consequently he is entitled to recover any fees in respect of his professional services, as if that Act had not been passed.

Approval of Hospitals for the Purposes of Section 16 (1) of the Medical Practitioners Act 1968

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 16 of the Medical Practitioners Act 1968, the Minister of Health, acting on the recommendation of the Medical Council, hereby approves of the hospitals specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, and controlled in each case by the authority indicated in respect thereof in the first column of that Schedule, as hospitals in which any person who is for the time being conditionally registered under that Act may practise medicine or surgery.

This notice amends the notice of approval of hospitals published in the Gazette of 1975, No. 79, p. 2142, and that notice is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Peter Edward Donovan, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Trade and Industry, hereby make the following price order:

PRELIMINARY

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 75 and shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1978.

  2. (1) Price Order No. 71 is hereby revoked.

(2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.

  1. In this order:

The expression “f.o.r.” means “free on rail”, and the expression “c and f” means “cost and freight”.
