Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Licensing the Christchurch Drainage Board to Use and Occupy
a part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Waimairi
Beach as a Site for Storm-water Outfall
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Christchurch Drainage Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waimairi Beach as shown on plan marked M.D. 11635, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport, at Christchurch, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a storm-water outfall as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1977.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand, provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Revoking the Foreshore Licence Authorising Parry Brothers
Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Wharf at Pipiroa, Piako River
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 25 November 1971* and which was amended on 27 January 1972† authorising Parry Bros. Ltd., to occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Piako River, at Pipiroa, as a site for a wharf is hereby revoked.

The Motor Launch (the Elbow, Waikato River) Notice 1977
—Franklin County Council
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice.
NOTICE
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (the Elbow, Waikato River) Notice 1977.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette. - Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12, of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply to the area of water specified firstly in the First Schedule hereto, on any day from the 1st day of November in any one year to the 15th day of April of the following year; and to the area of water specified secondly in the First Schedule, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations shall not apply on any day from the 1st day of December in one year to the 15th day of April of the following year.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that area in the Waikato River between a line across the river in a north-east south-west direction at the upstream end of Kaiwaka Island (2) and a line across the river in an east direction projected from the north-east corner of Lot 1 as depicted on D.P. 45711 (being 280 metres downstream of Elbow Road).
Secondly, all that area of water in the Waikato River between a line across the river in an east direction projected from the north-east corner of Lot 1, as depicted on D.P. 45711, and a line across the river from the old building known as the White Bait Factory, to a point on the opposite shore known as Te Pahikairau.
SECOND SCHEDULE
AT the end of Elbow Road where boats are launched there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 800 mm by 600 mm, painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
No speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers in the area from the end of Kaiwaka Island (2) to 1.08 kilometres downstream of the Elbow Road during the whitebait season.

The Motor Launch (Manawatu River) Notice 1977—
Manawatu Catchment Board
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Manawatu River) Notice 1977.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until further notice in the Gazette. - The areas described in the First and Second Schedules hereto shall be exempted from the regulations specified in those Schedules, and the area described in the Third Schedule shall be a reserved area for water skiing in each case excepting thereout 1 week prior to any duck shooting season, and the first week of any such season and such areas shall be marked in the manner described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water in the Manawatu River, from the lower end of the Whirokino Cut to the river mouth, except within 60 metres of the water's edge at the river banks shall be exempted from regulations 11 (b) and 11 (c) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962.
