OTAHUHU BOROUGH
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
THE Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Otahuhu, hereby give notice in accordance with the Public Works Act 1928, and amendments thereto of their intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of public works; namely the creation of a service lane off Hall Avenue, Otahuhu.
Every person directly affected by this notice is called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the land described in the Schedule hereto not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Department of Justice, Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. Any objection made in accordance with section 22 (1) (d) of the Public Works Act 1928, as amended by section 6 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1973, will be heard at a public hearing unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
A plan showing the land required to be taken has been deposited at the Otahuhu Borough Council Chambers, High Street, Otahuhu, and may be inspected between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
This notice is issued in accordance with the Public Works Act 1928.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for deviations on Okoroire Road, Tirau, Luck-at-Last Road, Cambridge and Baird Road, Tokoroa, respectively; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken, are deposited in the public office of the Matamata County Council, Rose Street, Tirau, and are there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
